Video Department Seeks Detail-Oriented, Highly Organized Intern.

We’re looking for a paid post-production summer intern to support our video and content team, helping to keep projects moving from raw footage to finished deliverables.

You’ll act as an assistant editor—picking up post-production tasks like social cutdowns, aspect ratio resizes, server management and file organization—and will function as part of the larger creative team, which includes web, copy, design, production and more.

Eager to learn the technical side of post-production workflows and passionate about visual storytelling? Read on for the details:

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the editing process by pulling selects, creating rough cuts, adding basic graphics, and preparing files for internal and client review.

  • Take ownership of versioning out final assets, specifically handling social media cutdowns and resizing videos for various platforms (e.g., 1x1, 9x16, 4x5).

  • Manage footage ingestion and act as the primary organizer for the editing server, ensuring folder structures, project files and raw assets are strictly maintained.

  • Support post-production tasks such as basic color correction, audio cleanup, captioning and exporting final master files.

  • Occasionally capture short-form or behind-the-scenes content on a mobile device or personal camera for agency social channels.

  • Help research video trends, social media formats and post-production techniques.

  • Perform other post-production duties as assigned to help streamline the team's workflow.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in film, video production, post-production, digital media, advertising or a related field.

  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly regarding file management and server hygiene.

  • Familiarity with shooting casual content on a smartphone or personal camera is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong interest in advertising, marketing, social media and visual storytelling.

  • Ability to take direction, ask thoughtful questions and work collaboratively,

  • Comfortable managing multiple project timelines and fast turnarounds.

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and eagerness to jump in wherever needed.

  • An editing portfolio, reel or samples of previous video work.
