GoHealth Urgent Care
Want Top Physicians? Give them the Best of Both Worlds.
When recruitment worlds collide, good things rarely happen. Except in the case of GoHealth Urgent Care, which unites the best of both worlds: urgent care and health systems. GoHealth joined forces with four major health systems — Dignity Health, Northwell Health, Legacy Healthcare Services, and Hartford HealthCare — and asked AB&C to help recruit physicians for its nationwide urgent care network.

The Strategy
AB&C used a cobranding approach that promised physician candidates they would have the integrated resources and support of a much larger medical system behind them, no matter which GoHealth region they practiced in. Our team developed a responsive design recruitment website, as well as compelling direct mailers, job-board web posts, collateral materials, and emails that drove traffic to the website.

We’ve received lots of positive feedback on our site’s look, feel and client experience. The Search Jobs by Location feature mirrors the functionality on our patient-facing website. But most impressively, the site allows us to deploy our Express Your Interest short form, which allows busy physicians and practitioners to respond in 60 seconds. That’s a huge plus for hard-to-fill positions. Our recruiters’ workflow has also improved dramatically as all responses are centralized and accessible, which in turn speeds our candidate follow-up and selection process.

The Success
Reporting proved substantial success.
- In the first month alone, the site experienced 19,800 job-search sessions and 38,100 page views.
- Our responsive web design also proved successful with 74 percent of job seekers visiting the site from a desktop device and 26 percent visiting from a mobile or tablet device.
- Average page views/apply ratios were consistently above industry norms. For all job types, an average of 12 to 15 percent is good. For hard-to-fill positions like physicians and physician assistants, 5 to 7 percent is considered very good. AB&C exceeded expectations on both counts.
